Dream InVader

Okay, maybe it's because I haven't posted anything up till this month, but I had a ridiculous dream last night. I was taking a stroll on a plaza with Darth Vader and we talked about various, daily stuffs. And he was quite a friendly guy there, he even tell jokes. Yes, it doesn't make any sense, I know.

Well, putting that aside, today is my sister's (or cousin, like I said before, whatever makes you happy) birthday. Let's wish her a happy birthday everyone!

Happy birthday Ririn, wish you all the best. ^_^

Oh by the way, yesterday I met Mrs. Ferawaty Hartono at Paris van Java, the wife of the greatest Indonesian billionaire that I'm familiar of and one of the richest Indonesian woman, we shook hands and talked quite casually. Honestly, I feel honored. =D

Here's her and the family

I really hope my family life can be like theirs. And I will make it happen, just watch and learn, and please don't get in the way for your own good. =p

EGamesBox Gathering, October 17th, 2009

Hey everybody, sorry for the lack of post, been busy lately. No seriously, I was.

Two days ago I went home to Jakarta to attend the EGamesBox gathering at Taman Anggrek Mall at Saturday afternoon. I thought I'd take my best friend and my junior along, since they're still members, although not the active ones. Hey the more the merrier, right?

The next day, my brother decided to tag along, since he got something to do there. And my junior said that he'll catch up later after he's done with his class. So the three of us - me, my brother, and my buddy - departed together from Kodam.

It was an awkward situation on the way there, my brother is not the kind of person who'd easily talk to strangers, and neither is my buddy. I tried to ease the situation by talking to one of them at a time, it was quite an effort, really. ~_~

Still, everything was cool until we arrived at Taman Anggrek Mall. The bus stopped to drop passengers, in the middle of the road, we started to get off the bus right then. A passenger got out, then my brother, 2 more passengers, then me... and the bus started moving and accelerated at high-speed.

See, my mind was set on getting off the bus, and I fear that the driver won't stop until the next "station", so I did what any crazies with a frantic mind would do: I jumped off.

I landed on my right foot, a VERY bad move. My left leg tried its best to balance my body, but it failed. I tried to avoid a face-first impact on the asphalt, so I turned my body during the fall.. A little to far. I landed ass-first on the asphalt, and was lying on the ground for about a second... Then a motorcycle went past my left side, missing me for a few centimeters...

My brother came back to help me get up from my NDE (Near Death Experience), all the while my legs were shaking and my hands felt so far away. But I didn't experience any fear until the next thing happened; My vision started to darken a bit by bit 'till it was near pitch black, and my ears felt like being covered by sound-dampening earmuffs.

I tried to reach out for my brother and grabbed his backpack, sticking close to him as we cross the road in my blinded, trembling state. I knew we have crossed the road when I no longer see fast movements in the dark and the fact that we no longer walking fast. Sometime after we walked further, my vision started to return bit by bit, I let go of my brother when I could at least see images of people in front of me. I leaned on my buddy while trying to stabilize my legs, after a while my vision returned to normal, although my ears were still feeling muffed.

By the time we entered the Mall, my senses have returned, although the pain were still there. We separated from my brother and went to 4th floor, where the rest of EGamesBox members were waiting.

We arrived at the meeting place, greeting everyone there. And then we just lounge around and talk about various stuffs while waiting for the rest of the members to arrive, mostly about RF Online or Point Blank. Once we waited long enough, the moderators officially opened the event.

First off, we did some kind of test to see how active we are on EGamesBox, and then we were sent off to find the moderators who scattered around the 4th floor. Once all that were done, the official event ended, and then we went outside the food court to take a picture and went to Timezone. Yes, the events during the gathering were only a few, although the gathering lasted for around 5 hours, but it's still fun nevertheless, and the last part before we got home was simply too hilarious to miss.

I learned 2 things that day: The first one is how I have made so many friends up till now, regardless of their backgrounds. This realization is really exciting and interesting at the same time, I used to be the shy guy of the class, now I could walk up to someone I never even met before and talk to them.

The second is my NDE, I realized that God haven't taken my life even after that because I still got a reason to live in this world. I'm not really sure, but I think now I know what His reason is. Let's just hope that my hunch is correct, then everything will turn out fine.

That'll be all for today I think, my body is so beat-up that I can no longer hold the aching and the sleepy feeling... Oh, by the way, if you want to look at the pictures, it's all here.

Good night everyone, oyasuminasai.

Mysterious Strangers?

First post of the month!!

I got nothing to talk about right now. Or rather, forgot what I wanted to write. =="

Although there's something noticable here. You see, I planted that visitor counter below just out of curiosity, because I always thought nobody reads this blog but myself.

Well, whaddaya know, the counter goes up by itself sometimes. No, no, it's not because I opened the blog myself, I left this blog when I went to my hometown, and the visitor count raised up to 20 points. And it's still adding up, though not frequently.

So with this post, I just want to tell you, whoever you people are, that you are always welcome to visit anytime, and please don't be shy to leave any comments or messages in the chat box, especially if we already know each other.

Or you could continue window-shopping like usual, it's alright. But it won't be as much fun don't you think? ^^

A Poem of Hate

I spent a full week without you
Right then I realized my world was so peaceful without you

It was a whole chilly week, and you're not around
I don't really mind, for we are not bound

Now that I'm back home, you return to me
And you pester me again the way you used to be

I have no idea why God blessed you with life
For you are so annoying, I want you out of my life

So I scream in my heart, leaving echoes
Get the fuck away from me, you goddamn mosquitoes

The View of the Te Nori Taiga

As I have promised on my last post, here's my review of Toradora!

It was really great, I mean it. The story plot is nicely made, the romance is neatly flavored, and some of the comedy parts are too hilarious not to laugh at.

And it's also one of few animes I watched that made an impact on me. I started to look at life in a different way now, with more optimism and confidence. I decided to stop running away from my problems from now on.

It's also one of those that actually made me cry.. No, really, I cried on episode 19 and 25.. And it wasn't just some simple drop of tears on episode 19 by the way, I actually broke down and had to cover my face with my hands to make sure that those who were sleeping around me don't wake up from my sobbing.

So, in the end, after applying some minuses on stuffs that you would understand why after watching it yourself, I'm giving it a 9.8 out of 10.

Conclusion? Well, if you're a fan of high-school life dramas, or should you even have the tiniest drop of otaku blood in you, and you haven't watched this or even never heard of it: Go watch it. Now. Quickly.

"Even if the sky is pitch black, with nothing to see, there will be stars shining somewhere out there. If I keep shining brighter and brighter, I'll definitely look better to people."
That's why, I won't run away anymore. I have to change. I have to accept everything. I will be proud of myself.

We're finally back from Bukit Tinggi!! God I really miss the internet... >_<

Many things happened back home, a lot of them are interesting. However, I don't think they'll fit in if I write them all here, would they?

First thing first, here's my grandma's house.

And here's the panoramic view from there.

And here are the creatures that filled the days we had at home.

As you can see, they don't really care about our own well being =="

We also went to some places, though most of them are our relatives' houses, which you might find not interesting, so I won't spill it here. But, here's a panoramic view as a freebie.

Ah, I also watched Toradora! from beginning to the end while I was there, review will follow after this post.

Well, I think that should be all for the short review of my homevillage visit. For those who are interested to know more, feel free to chat with me whenever I'm available at Yahoo Messenger.

Cheers to all. ^^v
