You're a Kitty!

I was on my way to the office's Foodcourt when suddenly...

A Wild Kitteh appeared!

With me being a cat lover, the result was expected: I put down every defenses and call out to it like a little girl talking to her teddy bear. It turned out that the cat was so tame it snuggled itself all over my leg...

SHEWASSOCUDDLYIWASGOINGTODIEAAAAAAAAARRRGG!!1

*ahem*
Anyway, I spent time with her for I don't know how long. All I remember was the warm fuzzy feeling of joy, cat purrs, and the staring of passerbys.

Oh, I haven't told you guys this yet; I'm actually allergic to cat furs, I had a temporary runny nose and now my chin is itchy. But that's not really a notable case to me, for this table below will explain what I - and perhaps, the rest of world's cat lovers - believe about petting a cat outdoors.

I wish I can meet her again in the near future. (>.<)

Web Life vs Real Life - 1:1

Went around 9gag today and came across a Derek Sivers' video below.

Since I've been practically living in the internet for quite a while now, I can understand this one completely, and quite personally too.

It's true that people really feel like they just can say anything to anyone because the person they're talking to is not in front of them, this applies to phone and texting as well. And sadly sometimes they can just go say bad things without thinking because they think they're talking to some kind of an NPC who won't feel a thing about it.

Have you ever been in an internet forums? I'm sure most of you have, since the fact you're reading this shows how capable you are in the web life, and usually those kind of people have at least one forum as their shelter.
But have you attended its gathering event? If you do, I'm sure you notice how some people you usually talk casually there behave; shy and don't talk as much as they do there. XD

I remember my friend said that, "conversation between lovers usually don't end up well in messengers or sms". And I experienced it myself during those 2 years I had with my ex.

I've been trying to treat people over the web as a real person, I even became some kind of life counselling center for some of my friends because of that. But there are times I forget how talking to other people should be, and made a mess out of it. I really hope I never make the same mistake again. :<

By the way, you might want to look at the rest of the videos on YouTube. They're quite heart-warming and made me realized stuffs I usually forget and/or not paying attention in life.

Activate the Über Defibrillator!

Finally got myself writing back here. @_@

I've been thinking, this blog is the first one I have that has been running for 2 years, despite the lack of posts. I can't let it die!

Gonna need a medical assistance to revive this blog again, preferably from a mad doctor

Don't worry my dear blog, ribs grow back!

Meng'kebo'

I've never thought that I would see the day when I actually encounter this peanut brand.

So I was at my friends' lab on campus, and they opened a plastic filled with gift snacks. And one of them was.. this..

Okay, there's nothing wrong about the grammar, but since it was a completely obvious copy of "Dua Kelinci" from my homeland, why not go with the "Two Rabbits" title? Well, in the end we came to a conclusion that it was meant to be a sequel for the Double Dragon.

The title says "Roasted Menglembu Peanut". This really sparked our interest to find out about this.. Menglembu.. Seriously, it was a new vocabulary for all of us there.

One of my friends was genius enough to describe it as "a Malaysian slang for 'Kumpul Kebo' (an act of cohabitation)", we laughed our asses off. Here's the man responsible.

Now I know some of you people might be confused as to why "Menglembu" can be translated into "Kumpul Kebo". I'll do my best to guide you through your confusion, despite being so damn sleepy myself...

First off, let's take a look at the word itself, "Menglembu". In Indonesian, words that starts with "Meng-" are a verb. So if we use that analogy in the word, it basically means "Doing Lembu", or "Doing Lembu stuffs".

Second, let's take a look at the "Lembu" part. "Lembu" in Indonesian basically means a cow. And as you may have known, cows reminds you of buffalos, and vice versa. And a buffalo in Indonesian is a "kerbau", which usually pronounced "kebo" in a casual way by most people.

In case you haven't met any cattle in your life (pitiful you..), here are some pictures. This is a Lembu

And this is a buffallo

Now if we put those two analogy together, "Menglembu" can be described as "Doing Lembu stuffs", which can also described as "Doing Buffalo stuffs"... And with a little bit of creativity, could be refined into "Mengkebo", and finally into "Kumpul Kebo"..

Some neat play of words, huh? Well... Not exactly...

There's still something else that bothered us though, on the back of the package, there is a French translation for the "Roasted Menglembu Peanut". Yet, on the distribution list, there's no indication that it was sold anywhere in France. Hmm...

Hell, whatever. *dundundun dunnnn dunnn dunnnn dundundun dunnnn dunnnn dunnnn*

Oh, if you're like me and had absolutely no clue on what in the nine hells is a Menglembu, you can check it out here. Though some of you might want to search it by yourself on google, there's a quite nice picture in the search results. =p

[Author's note: Now can anyone tell me why cohabitation is called
Kumpul Kebo in Indonesian?? 'Cause even up 'till now I don't understand why]

Beat it

Well, this is not the first time it happened.. But I'll tell you something, no matter how obvious it will be:

Taking a travel shuttle from Bandung to Jakarta at Friday nights is a wrong thing to do.

I'm so going to bed right after this... +____+

Nyoro~n Hamtutu-tan

If you're reading this, then first of all I would like to say that I'm sorry sir, but I just have to do this. I still can't find one that is understandable in human language.

Also, this is merely a stress reliever.

Q: Hey, you got time doing this, why not do something productive instead?

A: Yeah? Well, you try reading +200 pages of papers that are complete strangers to your brain, and try to understand them all in a matter of days. I'd like to see how 'normal' can you be after that.

I Would Also Like a Proper Interview After Everything is Over

Humans tend to do silly things when they're bored or being cornered by something they dislike..

Which explains why I'm even posting this silly questionnaire taken from another blog.. Thank you, by the way.

Well, here we go to the contents.

1. Two names you go by?
Lessee.. Ilham, Bl4ckh4nd, Hamtutu, Bleki... Oh wait, it's 4 already? Whoops.

2. What four things are you wearing right now?
Polo shirt, batik trousers, aura energy necklace, and underwear... What? It's perfectly normal to wear an underwear.

3. Are you in a relationship?
Well, it depends in which world did you meant to ask. If it's in this "common" world, then, no.

4. Have you ever been given a rose?
Yes I have, and wipe that surprised look off.

5. Have you ever licked a photo?
Nope, but I've licked a photo-box... Sike!

6. Have you ever been in love?
Since some part of me is still normal human-like, yes.

7. Do you believe that everyone has a soul-mate?
Well, I always believe in the term "fated meeting", so yes.

8. What's your current problem?
Final effin' project.

9. Have you ever had your heart broken?
Well, yeah. I mean, that's how we grow up, right?

10. Do you have a crush?
Nope, though I'll literally crush the next idiot who asks again.

11. How many kids do you want to have?
Never really thought about it. Though if I really have to answer, it's 2.

12. What is/are your favorite colours?
Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, Gold, Ruby, Sapphire, Leaf Green, Fire Red, Diamond, PearlTHIS IS NOT POKEMON!, Black, White.

13. Have you ever found it hard to tell anyone you like them?
Don't it ever.

14. Imagine you're 40 & your spouse just died, would you get re-married?
For now, I guess I'd say no.

15. What song do you want played at your wedding?
Magnet - Megurine Luka & Hatsune Miku

16. Do you like/love anyone?
Currently? Let's see... I love my family especially my mother, my cousins, my aunts and uncles, my computer, and.. Ah yes, I also love Setsuna. ^_^

I'll shoot the first dumbf*ck who laughs.

17. Do you think the person(s) you like/loves love/likes you back?
Lemme think... Yeah.

18. Have you ever wrote a love song/poem/letter/note?
Would you kindly find a pillow, or a plastic bag? Because I'm going to say yes.

19. Do you want to get married?
Now this is a million dollar question that I don't have the answer for.

20. Are you a shy person?
I'm a shy and an easily embarrassed person before you know me. Once you do, you're the one who'll get embarrassed by me. You've been warned.

21. Did you have a good day today?
As long as my final project is not finished yet there can be no peace.

22. Where did you just get back from?
Sleep.

23. What are you thinking about?
What the hell am I doing.

24. If you could change something about you or anything what would it be?
My overly masculine look that made every other puny male cry laziness.

25. Would you ever go back to any of your past relationships?
Nah, I'd rather not. Besides, sometimes to love someone also means to let them go.

26. Who's the closest person/people to you?
My mother, my brother, my dearest cousins, and the idiots I always hang out with.

27. What's the thing you love about the person you love?
Well, to name a few, she's a beauty, has a kind of cute personality, she's strong, she knows how to wield a sword really well, and she has a pair of white wings dammit.

Oh, and she got those beautiful eyes, and her smile is also adorable.

Desho desho?

That's all there is to the questionnaire, time to return to reality... God please help me out for tomorrow..

She's On Fire!!

This post is dedicated to the achievements of the most adorable tsundere ever walked the (animated) earth, Shana.

She's the winner of Aquamarine necklace on 2008, Sapphire on 2009 and 2010 as well.

And now...

She won the Emerald necklace too! She's on fire!!

Err... a little bit too literal there, sorry. Oh, try not to enjoy the lava bath for too long, Shana-chan.. I don't know if it's good even for you.. ^^;
Lava bath O_o

Mikoto got whacked during the last two rounds by her and Yuki, too bad there... It was so close..

Now, now, there's still Ruby period, you can still have at it, biri-biri! I'm cheering for you here, show them your thundere charm! ^_^

(Nope, thundere is not a typo, in case anyone asked)

D:

My buddy, the author of one of the few awesome blog out there, has reached the end of his long academic journey today. (A happy birthday for him too)

And another one would be on his way as well tomorrow.

As for me? I think this picture would suffice to describe the feeling that I have for my final project.

For the love of God, can someone with a great knowledge of C language come and help me out over here?? All I got left are just this goddamn program modification, and a little bit of writing, then I'm done!!

Facepalm'd

So let's review this day.

-I planned to go to Bandung at 05.30, but the whole family overslept so I had to take the 06.30 travel.

-I went to my professor in hopes for enlightenment for my thesis. What I got was some "Lol n00b, DIY" response.

-Thought I'd ask my friend instead. What I got from him was some "OMGWTF iz dis haxx0r shit" response.

-Decided that there was no further use staying around any longer, I went to my (rented) crib. Thought I'd stick around for a bit and check out my siblings there...
Only to find that one is still in deep sleep while the other was about to go out.

-Thus my business at Bandung was (prematurely) done by 10 o'clock, so I headed out with my sis and went separate ways so I could catch the 10.30 travel..
Which turned out that there were no travels for 10.30 & 11.30, so I took the one for 12.30.

-Thought I'd kill some of those 2 hours by walking around Ciwalk. I did expected it to be empty, but not as desolate as I found out.

-Went to check out new movies at XXI, thought I'd pass some time at the arcade along the while... Yet it was still not open yet, so no access to the arcade as well.

-Had enough, I went back to the travel pool. Accompanied by light, passionate rain.

-It was raining cats & dogs along the way to Jakarta, so it was pretty cold.

-On my way back home, my path was blocked by flood, so I had to take a detour. Which was far enough to sweat me from the top to the bottom.

Fukou da...

At least things got better since I was back at home though.

By the way, don't forget to vote at ISML. 2 hours remaining.

Oh, and NZL vs SVK: 1-1. Nice one eh NZ? First goal in world cup, ever.

Whose Birthday?

Some totally random post:

I was checking my mail to see whether my professor sent me another e-mail to help me out with my thesis (yea, I know, it's a little bit too hopeful on my part). And the only thing I got was this

[Author's note: Behold my K-ON! desktop accessory & the bad-ass winamp skin, hur hur hur]

Not only that it was just a notification from a certain social network which popularity died away a long, long time ago, it's apparently a reminder for Godzilla's birthday.

So there you go Japanese folks, Godzilla was born somewhere around June. You might want to prepare some sort of celebration, like Gion Matsuris or..

..Nah, maybe not.. D:

[Note: I never opened that site anymore, so I seriously forgot who it actually is. No offense to the owner of the name, this post it purely made out of boredom]

A Poem of Hate

I spent a full week without you
Right then I realized my world was so peaceful without you

It was a whole chilly week, and you're not around
I don't really mind, for we are not bound

Now that I'm back home, you return to me
And you pester me again the way you used to be

I have no idea why God blessed you with life
For you are so annoying, I want you out of my life

So I scream in my heart, leaving echoes
Get the fuck away from me, you goddamn mosquitoes

The Jedi Code

There is no emotion...
There is peace.

There is no ignorance...
There is knowledge.

There is no passion...
There is serenity.

There is no chaos...
There is harmony.

There is no death...
There is the Force.

What Breed of Cat are you?

I tried this quiz, short but it has unexpected results, unlike most other "what bla-bla-bla are you?" quiz. If you wanna try it out yourself, it's right here

You Are a Persian Cat

You are very high-maintenance, at least as far as keeping up your appearance goes.

But you're surprisingly low-maintenance in every other aspect of your life.

You are peaceful and sweet tempered. People enjoy your company.

You are loving and a good companion, but it takes you a while to trust people.

Very cute pic, kinda reminds me of my sister's cat, Lola. ^_^

As for the results.. well, only the second and the last lines are true, the second before last is only half true.. >_<

The Miracle Drug

Lately I've been quite addicted with this drug. I took it more than 3 times a day, you know, for the maximum benefits.

It's a great drug, the effects are even better than beers or the other stupid drugs (e.g Cocaine, Marijuana). It blows your problems away and makes you feel more relaxed.

I know, they don't REALLY go away, but hey.. Pretending to not feel misplaced is so much easier than change, right?

Behold, the greatest drug ever. Fukitol.

Testimonials:

Fukitol is great, it takes care of all my worries and problems. Especially my ED! Thanks Fukitol

At least this on doesn't give me the shakes.... and if you snort it, you feel like you can fly!!!

Have you tried the generic version? I use screwitol. Works the same and saves me

No patent for Fukitol. This has been in the public domain for decades. Norman Mailer described its use in WW2 but misspelled it as Fugital. In ghettos it is cooked into a crystal form and widely used by hookers. They call it FukThemAll. Those caught in possession are sent to spelling prision.

Before using Fukitol I worried about bills, my husband fooling around and job security. Now only after a day of using this miracle drug, I find myself free of all the fuks in this work. Thank you Fukitol...because of you all my worries are gone. I would like to reccommend everyone to just... Fukitol!

Be sure to do what I do: spread 2 table-spoons of jack daniels over your clothes before visiting the doctor. Also 1 table-spoon of olive oil for your hair never hurts. If you just do those two things, they'll be sure to write you a generous prescription of fukitol.
