Hey guys, what's goin on?
I'm currently typing this on my way back home inside the travel car, gonna post after I arrive there.
Well, as the post said, happy belated new year people! Hope things will be better. A year has passed so suddenly that I forgot to post it, a shame really, but it's not like my new year's eve was a blast anyway, altough it wasn't a boring one - I spent the last night of 2009 playing Counter Strike with my buddy.
Lame? Yes.
But it's worth noting because I appreciate the fact that I at least did something fun, compared to others who won't even try to enjoy the night. Could be because they don't know what to do, or they are sick, or they were mourning on something instead, or...... they are working? (I REALLY pity these guys).
So if anyone reading this laughed at how lame I spent the new year's eve, please to the world a favor by looking at how lame did YOU spent it first.
Have you got your resolutions for this year? I got quite a lot, but describing all those will be quite tiring right now, so let's save it for later shall we?
So anyway, the story for today would be... a hypothermia.
Why? Well, when I was on my way to the travel car pool that will take me back to Jakarta, it started to rain. A small one at first, then it periodically gets bigger. So big that the street was flooded.
It was a two-lane street, and it's a shopping centre, so I bet you got the idea on how crowded it was. The traffic won't move an inch, the people sheltered themselves under anything they could find, and the flood didn't help anything.
But wait, it gets better. The angkot that I rode on decided to make a detour from his route, and the passsengers that needed to go to places on his usual route were forced to get off in the middle of the rain, this includes me. The reason? Because it would be useless for him to endure the traffic because he won't find more passengers within his time limit, yes the inhuman act was all because of money.
Oh, and we still have to pay. So I gave him his money and cursed at him. I yelled quite loud, hope he heard it.
And there I was, in the middle of the storm. Shelterless and without umbrella.
I. Was. And. Currently. Still. Freezing.
Typing this took a lot of effort you know, right now I can't feel my legs and my hands are numb, moving my fingers is not an easy matter as well. It's all thanks to my drenched clothes & pants, wet sandals, and the bloody air conditioner. My body won't stop shivering.
May God rain eternal misfortune on that cursed angkot driver.
I REALLY wish for a hot chocolate....
====================================================================================
Now I'm at home, I was too tired last night to post this, and I had a small chat with my mom as well. So here it is, a story that I had yesterday.
Me? I'm perfectly fine, even after all that. Thank you Allah. ^_^
