Duel of the Fates

4 hours before the killing..

There will be no mistake today, I am prepared...

The only thing I could do now is to make some last minute preparations, and pray that everything will work out smoothly..

You're Not In Kansas Anymore, People

Sorry for breaking my promise, I was completely busy from Monday to Wednesday that I can't even think what to write. And writing this took 2 days because of work.... Well, there are other things worth writing, but I keep forgetting what they are since I'm preoccupied by my tasks. At least I'm not alone, 2 of my best buddies, Iman & Richard, are also on the same web, so we decided to do those together.

And finally, after 3 days of madness typing in front of my laptop, a few readings of human anatomy slides, unknown number of chocolates, insufficient sleeps, a few hours with Mary and Max, two seasons of Star Wars: Clone Wars - The animated series, and some of your random wackiness, it was all over on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock.

Surviving those days without anything to look forward to is very difficult. As for us, our goal was this

Avatar, the premiere was last Thursday. And we decided to watch the one at 1430 hours.

I finished my test at around 10 o'clock on Thursday - twice, since I have to do a follow-up quiz as well - and I rushed straight home after that, because I haven't eaten anything and I haven't taken a bath on that time.

At home, after finishing everything I needed to do, I tried so hard to stay awake because I don't want to miss the show, and playing games didn't help much since I fell asleep even in the midst of Torchlight chaos. -_-

Time goes by, and at around 2pm, Iman & his brother, Fandi, picked me up - turned out HE fell asleep, lol - and we rushed ahead to pick up another passenger, Dewe, on the way. Normally we could reach our destination within less than 30 minutes, but the traffic didn't help at all..

It was already 1425 hours, and we haven't reached our destination. Things started to get really tense in the car, Dewe started spouting about the late pickup, Iman feeling guilty, Fandi annoyed by the traffic (he's driving).

I tried to calm the tension by telling them that the movie won't play on time, there will be commercials and trailers for other movies, etc. Iman could only praise my "ridiculous optimism" and keep on grieving.

We arrived at 1440 hours, me & Dewe rushed out to the theater door to wait for the others to give them their tickets. To everyone's relief, the movie haven't started yet. As for me, I already know this will happen, so it was nothing special.

After some ticket giving, popcorn grabbing, and more waiting. Me & Richard was late for around 5 minutes while everyone else has already went inside the theater. And we put on our 3D glasses, sat comfortably, and hoped that our hopes for this movie won't get let down.....

And God help us, Avatar SURPASSED everything I looked forward to.

The story was nice, although you can find those in other great movies. However, the graphics were so great that at some scenes I was unable to move with popcorn in mouth, dumbstruck. At some point, my eyes even became watery because of the outstanding scene.

The floating mountains were awesome, they reminded me to Final Fantasy's floating continents. The forest during nighttime made me speechless, it was really beautiful. The CG animations were so perfect that I can't complain at all.

This is the first movie that made me finished my regular sized popcorn after 2 hours. And I was thankful for it, because I can't even think of doing anything else during the last 30 minutes. I could only sit there and stare at the screen, with mouth open.

We got out of the theater amazed, everyone's excited and kept talking about the movie until we got out of the mall. And to myself, Avatar carved deeply into my brain that I can't watch any other movie for the time being.

I won't spoil anymore stuffs, you should watch it yourself, 3D highly recommended.

Avatar - should God decided to make a movie, this is the one closest to it next to Star Wars and The Lord of the Rings.

First Post, Bad News

Never got into the writing mood lately, although a lot of stuffs happened...
Especially when my net broke down for 5 days or so..

But I guess from now on I'll write more, just to get off my gaming doses..

Anyway, let's start with the most recent news shall we..

No, I'm not going to talk about my legs, it's the shoes..
They were stolen yesterday by some Godforsaken person who-knows-whom..

The shoes that have accompanied me everywhere.. Ah yes, we have our own memories together..

I hope wherever they are now, they will be okay.. And may God lay eternal peril on the person who separated me from them..
